My name is Lisa Johnston and welcome to my home based salon in Yarmouth, Isle of Wight
With a background in graphic design from the start of my professional career, I have since trained in various aspect of nail service techniques. I hold recognised and certified qualifications – fully trained & insured, you can rest assured you are in safe hands.
I have already created an online business for my bespoke press-on nail sets and am now extending this to offer one-to-one appointments within my new salon.

By appointment only, the time is allocated just for you to ensure the salon environment delivers a fully personalised service.
With a love of art and a passion for creating unique nail sets I look forward to being able to combine my background and skills to create bespoke nail sets that are unique to you.
During the booking process we can ascertain your requirements and get inspiration for your finished set.
For special occasions such as hen do’s, weddings and proms, I can work with fabric samples you provide for colour matching, along with embellishment specifics such as crystals or pearls to match any design or ensemble.
For such events I think it’s really important to have a basis from which to work to ensure the design from your mind’s eye translates to your finished set to compliment your outfit perfectly. I will be on hand to help guide you through the process.
I can create a beautifully simplistic set with plain colour, a discreetly accented or fully embellished set that really stands out in a crowd. I pride myself on offering a personalised service and having the opportunity to create sets that are as unique as you.

Basic nail art may be included within your price, however for custom nail art there will be an additional cost due to the time and materials involved. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements prior to booking to obtain a fixed price and to ensure enough time is booked for your individual design.
Gel Polish
Gel polish application uses a soft gel in the form of polish. The gel polish acts as an overlay on the natural nail and can last 2+ weeks.
The result is high shine nails with no chipping, peeling, or cracking when suitable aftercare is followed.

Builder In A Bottle
Strong, natural nails is where it’s at – and using builder in a bottle aka BIAB can help give you your best set yet. BIAB sits between regular gel polish and gel extensions. Applied to the natural nail, much in the same way as a regular gel polish, it has a thicker consistency that creates a strengthening barrier for natural nails. This added protection enables nails to grow steadily and lessens the chances of snapping or breakage when suitable aftercare is followed.
BIAB can be ‘infilled’ every two to three weeks.
Available in a range of colours which can be left as is, or be painted with your favourite gel polish colour.

Gel Extensions
Hard gel extensions are a fantastic way to instantly increase your natural nail length. Using UV gel cured to create an extended version of your own nails which can then be painted with your favourite gel polish colour.
Achieve strong yet light, hard-wearing nail extensions using this method, which will last 2-3 weeks when suitable aftercare is followed.
Gel extensions can either be infilled^ at this point or removed professionally ** (**professional removal is essential to avoid damage to the natural nail).

Press-On Nails
For those of you you require a more temporary solution to your nail service, press-on nails are just perfect!
They are absolutely ideal for those such as medical professionals and kitchen & catering staff who are unable to wear nail enhancements at work. Young misses can benefit during school holidays too.
Ideal if you are taking a break between treatments and perfect for short term wear, they can be created on any style tip and length, in a colour and design of your choice.
Available as 'Sets-To-Go' which include a full set of either 20/24 nails without the need to confirm specific sizes which also make these sets ideal to purchase as gifts for friends and family.
Alternatively custom made sets can be ordered and will come with a free sizing kit included to ensure the perfect fit prior to creation of your finished set.
Full instructions are included and each set comes beautifully presented in a gift box along with your chosen method of application, this being either sticky pads or glue.

Nail Art
Nail art is my passion! I just love the challenge of creating unique sets. Please browse my gallery for examples of my previous work. The sets I create are based on my experience as a graphic designer from where my career first started combined with the techniques I have learnt in relation to gel nails application. In my gallery you will find examples of hand painting, 3D flower work and crystal placement.
Whilst every client is unique and has different requirements they may provide inspiration for a special set or forthcoming occasion such as a wedding.
It is my hope that in opting for my services you may obtain nail sets that are completely bespoke and that will stand out in a crowd.
I am able to create accent nail tips in complimentary colours, glitter or shimmer effect gel polish. Basic nail art such as foil or foil flakes, line art or dots may also be included – please check at the time of booking.
More involved designs such as marbling, stamping and ombrés, hand painted and completely bespoke designs using mixed medium such as crystals, 3D glitter and 3D flowers are available as are bespoke bridal & special occasion designs. I feel very privileged to have the opportunity to work with brides in creating one-off stand out sets for your engagement party, hen-do and special day. We can work together to ensure the theme of these reflect you and your personality.
On your wedding day when you take centre stage, all eyes will be on your hands and I look forward to making your dream nails come true.
I can work with inspiration pictures, fabric swatches, flowers – whatever you provide that forms the basis of your theme to ensure your nails are the perfect match to your wedding ensemble. Be it lace, diamante or vintage, I can arrive at a design and ensure it matches your scheme perfectly.
I work closely with professional suppliers to ensure the perfect polish and crystal colour match.
By booking in advance I will have the opportunity to source the necessary items to make your set completely unique to you.
I accept advance bookings for brides to ensure we have time to arrive at your perfect design and source the necessary personalised elements. Bridal bookings can be taken in advance with a booking fee at the time of booking. This ensures I can allocate enough time for your requirements for the date of your wedding. Ordering a press-on set is easy. If you've seen a finished set in the shop that you would like to customise to suit your chosen scheme, place your order as a custom colour, then simply send in a sample of fabric or share your mood-board to ensure your nail set is the perfect match!
